Boil the meat till tender. Apart from being a delicious high protein red meat full of vitamins and minerals🤤, goat meat also takes a shorter time to cook compared to beef.
Meanwhile, unpeel the ginger, garlic, and onion. Dice the onions, pound the ginger and garlic using a pestle and mortar. You can also use a grater to grate your ginger and garlic.
When the meat is tender and you still have the stock, drain and preserve it for later use.
Now that you have drained the stock and set aside the meat on a plate, use the same cooking pot to fry your onions in the cooking oil.
When they’re about to turn golden, toss in ginger and garlic, fry till golden brown.
Add pilau masala, salt, and soy sauce, keep stirring.
Add your rice and meat and let them fry for a minute while you keep stirring.
Add your stock. The liquid you’re adding should double the number of cups of rice. Mine was one cup of rice and I had 1 cup of stock so I added 1 cup of water too.
Just when it starts to boil, reduce the heat and cover the pot.
Once it is nice and dry it’s ready to be devoured🤤.
